Anniversary
Last post was my 30th official post! That means 30 times I have gone to mother internet thinking that I had something to say. Even better, I probably actually did have something to say once or twice. Ah self depreciating blogs and humor..so original!
Onto physical pursuits!!! I have setup a new game with myself, where I closely monitor my lunchtime eating habits and then try to burn the calories off when I get on the elliptical at home. So far the scoreboard reads intake/burnt 580/200. My ultimate goal is to burn off 1800 calories a week. With an average lunchtime caloric intake of 2400 calories.
Unhealthy!?! Probably, multivitamins and water for the win. Besides I really could use some weight loss. So a few weeks of this probably will do my body good and then I can try to coax myself back. To burn 400 calories will probably take about a little over a half hour. I'll be proud if I go 20 minutes which should be good for about 250-300 in total caloric burnination. If I begin to have deprivation hallucinations I'll be sure to tell you about it.
As far as motivation? If i can keep up the 1800 a week burn for 4 weeks, I will buy myself that Vocal training course I have been eyeballing for some time now.
Breaching the void
Speaking of which, I came SOooo close to actually getting up and running this morning before work. I actually got up at the appropriate time. However I went back to sleep. New plan: Set my alarm clock back an additional 20 minutes.
Apparently I have become a snooze button aholic. Which is a habit to break at a later date. For now were just trying to get into the habit of exercise before work. Just as a side note, should I ever get my sleep butt up, calories will not be judged nor entered into the contest that I listed above.
Final 5 thoughts
Business opportunity: I would buy a Bible if it had been translated into modern ebonics. (insert cheap joke with bling, ice and shizzle here)
2nd thought: The Bible is a long manuscript and the joke would probably get old long before you got to any of the good stuff.
WoW opportunity: Hoping to see myself cracking the top 300 in pvp'rs today. Official rankings should be posted soon.
2nd thought: WoW is taking away valuable resources. Next time your in a jam for money use it as an excuse to cancel your monthly subscription.
3rd thought: Never allow yourself to be in a jam for money.
