I have given myself a cap on how long I have to create this post. Gone are the days where I could let me thoughts simmer and stew. Forget proper grammar and corrected spelling. Work load is now requiring me to go completely linear.
It is actually nice to be uber busy now. My current client has a penchant for auditing every line of data that comes through the pipeline. This in turn creates a lot of mindless busy work and phone calls for me. I hit up our purchasing department for an email blaster. I figured we could save money for the client on billable hours by simply having a mechanism to dump email address into and a canned format and have it blasted to all participants and places unkown.
It also would give me prime opportunity to start that spam money making scheme I always knew I had in me.
So work is at a great clip. Unfortunately the blog suffers because you know I'm not going to do this during my free time. When my hours are billable only to myself I am suddenly much more concerned about not being a time sink.
2 minutes left and all I can say if you havent stopped by Joystiq.com and checked out the videos and shots of the Nintendo Wii you should. It truly looks like it will be the party machine that brings games into the main stream. For example look at the tennis game which allows you to control the swing speed and shot of the ball by the the movements of your arm in relation to the controller.
Sounds like the next great pastime for me when im drunk. Which might be the only time I will ever say "game of tennis anyone?"
